The Akamatsu-Arimasa duo featured on the world’s first XECD24 title ‘SIX INTENTIONS / Toshihiro Akamatsu’; new repertoire from the NEW ALBUM now being recorded; a new jazz workshop with veteran jazz guitarist 中牟礼貞則 as guest; and a duo with emerging marimbist 松島美紀. A varied programme presents the height of acoustic music, evolved during the 2 years since the previous healing jazz with drum-and-bass and grunge styles.
