Performers: Emi Sato (piano): completed graduate study at Kunitachi College of Music and received the Kreuzer Award; completed graduate study at Detmold University of Music in Germany; piano instructor at the Kunitachi College of Music affiliated junior and senior high schools; active in solo, accompaniment and ensemble performance; founder of Emi Piano / Junko Sakimura (marimba): graduated from Kunitachi College of Music; performs as a freelance marimba and cimbalom player with major orchestras and has given Japanese premieres of works by Kurtág and others; founder of the Marimba.org Music School / 田中綾 (percussion): graduated from Senzoku University; selected in the Asahi Contemporary Music Competition ‘Kyogaku V’; performs throughout Japan, including television appearances and recording; director of the Marimba.org Music School Yoyogi-Uehara studio.
