The Heartland Marimba Festival & Academy returns in 2015. Its Academy is scheduled for 2015-06-22/2015-06-28 at Iowa State University in Ames. The wider festival is announced for 2015-06-13/2015-06-28, with concerts across central Iowa; the earlier festival dates are not the Academy dates. Matthew Coley is artistic director.
Programme
The college and pre-professional marimba Academy will offer classes, lectures, performances, private lessons, recording and editing sessions, and solo and chamber performance opportunities. Andrew Ardizzoia and L. Scott Price are resident composers; Chad Jacobsen is resident recording engineer. The wider festival also invites applications for Performer and Young Composer Competitions by May 8.

Clocks in Motion Percussion is listed as artist faculty. Matthew Coley and the HMFA faculty are scheduled to lead the Academy sessions.
