The jury gala concert of the Universal Marimba Competition & Festival Belgium 2026, Marimba Classics, was set for July 17, 2026, from 20:30 to 22:00 CEST at the Academic Hall (Academiezaal), Plankstraat 18, Sint-Truiden.
Jury artists: Pei-Ching Wu, Ludwig Albert, Foo Pui Yee, Rodrigo Marques, Noriko Tsukagoshi, and Filippo Lattanzi. Special guests: soprano Kelly Poukens and percussionist Eddy Tse Tsz Chung.
Programme: music by Huanwei Lu, Pius Cheung, Atsushi Yamanaka, Claude Francois, Miho Hazama, Rodrigo Marques, Andrew Thomas, Francisco Tárrega, and Tomás Méndez; traditional music; and arrangements by Foo Pui Yee, Ludwig Albert, Eddy Tse, and Rodrigo Marques.
Festival Day I and two-day festival passes included the concert. A separate gala-only ticket was not confirmed.
