The Nagoya Branch of the Japan Marimba Association presents Marimba no Kyōen Vol. 3 at 17:00 on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at The Concert Hall in Denki Bunka Kaikan, Fushimi, Nagoya.
The organizer’s page lists 16 marimbists, ranging from newer members to veterans. A 10-player large ensemble will perform “Jupiter” from Holst’s The Planets.
The programme also includes A. Silverman’s The Cruel Waters, A. Koppel’s TOCCATA, L. Chin Cheng’s Kaleidoscope, J. Rutter’s Suite for Strings, N. Westlake’s Omphalo Centric Lecture, and S. Crino’s From the Overgrown Cathedral.
Tickets are ¥3,500 for general admission and ¥2,000 for university students and younger attendees. Infants and toddlers are not admitted. Reservations can be made by email through the organizer’s page, with payment at the venue on the day of the concert.
