International Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition 2016 — Bamberg

The International Marimba Festiva Congress and Competition 2016 is scheduled for 2016-03-31/2016-04-02 at the Konzert- und Kongresshalle Bamberg, Germany. Marimba Festiva e.V. presents the marimba competition alongside a congress.

Competition format

The competition has four main age groups, with AG I divided into Ia and Ib. AG Ib covers ages 13–15, AG II ages up to 18, and AG IV ages 22–25. The finalists’ concert includes the final adjudication round for AG IV and performances from other age groups.
