The TROMP International Percussion Competition 2026 brings ten selected professional percussionists to Eindhoven for four public jury rounds. The formal competition period runs from September 19 to 27; the public rounds take place on September 20, 22, 23 and 27.

- Round 3 — Postcards to the Future: September 23 at DOMUSDELA
- Final: September 27 at Muziekgebouw Eindhoven
The three finalists each create a personal 35-minute recital with an artistic team. Each recital includes a new work by Malika Kishino and individual roadmap material by Genevieve Murphy.

Prizes
The official rules list ranking prizes of €15,000, €10,000 and €5,000. Part of each amount is reserved for developing a personal artistic project with the TROMP team. The final also includes the Friends of TROMP Audience Award as an honorable mention.
This is the main international percussion competition and is separate from the young-player TROMP Next Gen: Mallet Competition 2026.
