The first TROMP Next Gen: Mallet Competition brings young players from around the world to CKE in Eindhoven. Each musician performs a self-written piece alongside selected repertoire on marimba, vibraphone, or both.

The first round runs from September 23 to 25. Five finalists and one wildcard advance to the final on September 26. The international jury is chaired by Nancy Zeltsman, with Peter Prommel, Nozomi Hiwatashi, and Yi-Ping Yang.
