Questionnaire Adams Endurance Field Frame

Hi there!

Adams musical instruments produces the so-called Endurance Field frame for over 20 years now. This frame is an alternative undercarriage for its instruments (Marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones etc.). The Field frame provides the instrument with a robust and drivable undercarriage where the user can mount a variety of accessories.

Personally I'm very interested in the design and where it can be improved. I'm looking for musicians who have experience with the frame to find what the pro's and cons are of this frame.

The questionaire will take up to 5-10 minutes.

The submissions will be completely anonymous and will be deleted after my investigation is finished (Juli 2022).

Hello, everybody!
Being captivated by it's beautiful tone I recently finished a composition for solo marimba and string orchestra which I would like to share with you here. The marimba was a challenge for me as a non-percussionist. I read textbooks, watched technique videos, listened to a lot of music, studied scores and spoke to fellow musicians in order to compose a sensible piece for the instrument. I joined the forum in order to get further opinion and evaluation from professionals and will be very happy if you take a listen. That will help me grow as a composer.

how much 4 mallet stuff there is in it and how long it is?

Hi,
I have to play a concerto on 19th June and someone recommended the concertino for marimba and wind band by alfred reed. I got grade 8 (GB) several years ago but am pretty rusty as I havent played tuned stuff for a couple of yrs properly. Can anyone advise if they reackon it is too hard/how much 4 mallet stuff there is in it and how long it is?

Happy New Year!

2020 seems to be an interesting year from the point of view of classical music.

To start with, it marks the 250th birth anniversary of L.v.Beethoven.

In Oriental Zodiac, 2020 is a year of mouse 「子年」 and the composers that were born in a year of mouse includes Haydn and Mozart. So, we got all the three top Classical era composers covered!

2020 got to be a splendid year.
