Kana Omori (大森香奈) is a Japanese marimbist, percussionist, educator, composer, and arranger. She teaches percussion at Osaka College of Music and has performed as a soloist, lecturer, and competition juror in Japan and internationally.
Her awards include first prize and special prizes at the International Percussion Competition in Italy and first prize at the KOBE International Music Competition. She is an international artist for instrument and mallet makers including ADAMS, Encore Mallets, Salyers Percussion, SABIAN, Aluphone, and Fall Creek, and serves as an Ishinomaki Tourism Ambassador (as of August 30, 2026).
On April 16, 2023, Omori gave the premiere of Kohei Kondo’s Marimba Concerto Op.216 with the Amabile Philharmonic Orchestra under conductor Hakaru Matsuoka. The orchestra has published a live-stream archive of the performance.
