Hedi Yang is a marimbist and percussionist from China. She began her studies at the Zurich University of the Arts at the age of 16, studying with Klaus Schwärzler, Raphael Christen and Benjamin Forster.
In 2025, she received the Fritz-Gerber-Award and won first prize in the AG III category of the International Marimba Festiva Live Competition.
Her orchestral experience includes a 2021 tour with the Swiss Youth Symphony Orchestra and training as an academy musician with the Sinfonie Orchester Biel Solothurn.
