Description
A four-movement suite for jazz orchestra by Andrew Classen, then a music professor at Drake University. It brings together his interests in golf and music, taking inspiration from Waveland Golf Course in Des Moines.
It was premiered by the Turner Center Jazz Orchestra under Classen’s direction at the Patty and Fred Turner Jazz Center, in a concert beginning at 7:30pm local time on November 20, 2014.
