Description
A solo marimba work composed in 2013 for the bicentenary of Søren Kierkegaard’s birth.
Its title draws on Kierkegaard’s ideas of repetition and recollection. Fujikura explores repetition through the work’s structure and function rather than simply recurring figures; five or six rhythmic layers of differing lengths underpin the music.Versions
