Description
Written in 2000 for New Music Marimba, this solo work calls for a five-octave marimba. Naito began with the character of the instrument and drew on the woods as an image of timelessness, seeking a deep, spiritual musical expression.
William Moersch premiered it in Uruguay on 31 May 2000 during his South American tour.
