Description

Avant, pendant, et pourtant — percussion quartet

Commissioned by Les Percussions de Strasbourg and first performed on March31,2025 in schools in Strasbourg’s Hautepierre district. Two fast movements surround a slow central section. Repeated vibraphone figures and bowed marimba sounds lead from rhythmic intensity through a suspended, darker episode toward a brighter final movement.
