Rhythm Song (for one or more marimbas)

Description

A work for solo marimba or multiple players doubling the same line.

Rhythm Song draws on African, Latin, gamelan and jazz-fusion idioms. It can be played without accompaniment, or with multiple marimbas following the same material in unison or octaves. The melody and rhythmic patterning support both a solo performance and shared ensemble playing.
