The question is, how best to deal with these insipid "invasions" onto the message board. The obvious options:
1) Ignore these nonsense, non-marimba posts, and hope that the lack of attention will take the fun out of it for these "Internet trolls."
2) If the software allows, ask you (Nat) to go through the board and eliminate the questionable posts. I know what it takes to maintain a web site in the first place, and it would be a great inconvenience for you to have to "babysit" the board by checking for these messages every so often, on top of normal web master duties.
3) Change the format of the site, so that anyone who wished to post to the message board would have to register before doing so. I'm sure we'd all like to keep the board as accessible as possible, but this would be one way to deter these nonsense posts. (And even though one would have to register to participate, anyone would still be able to read the posts.)
My preference would be #1. Like someone else posted to the board, "don't feed the trolls" - they feed off of attention.
