I have seen a few posts here from those interested in making their own mallets but not able to find cores (balls).
Perhaps I can help, I currently have some avaliable in four different hardness from soft to hard, 60-72-85-95 durometers. These are oval style cores much like the old Degan cores. Each core is 1&3/16" in diameter and 7/16" thick with a 1/4" hole in the center. All are black rubber and can be used unwrapped or wrapped. I also have a small amount of rattan avaliable.
