hi, can't make suggestions for loud stage mic-ing, but at moderate volumes, I like to mic it from below, puting the mic right under & between the resonators, one high & one low. There is a vibes man from Las Vegas, who had individual pickups put on each note. That is probably the best solution (though expensive i'm sure). good luck.
