The Rosauro is indeed a great piece. Its also a pretty good intro to the more advanced marimba literature..namely the LH accompianment and the RH melody things, as well as the independent roll sections.
The Glennie recording is pretty good, but I'd go with the recording Rosauro did himself. I dont remember the name of the disc, but I think its something like the Brazillian Marimba or something..nevermind...I have no clue..
but its good!
and I havent really been too much help
