Yes I know this is a marimba web site, and this is a question concerning a piece of vibraphone repertoire, but I was hoping someone might know the answer anyway. I was saw Steve Weiss sells a piece by Chin-Chin Chen called Points of Departure for vibraphone and tape. I was wondering if this is a more accessable arrangement of Robert Moran's piece (of the same title) for symphony orchestra? It would make a lot of sense, if you've heard his piece, but Steve Weiss sells the solo for $43 so I wanted to see if I could get some confirmation before I make the investment.
