I dont think either is better. im a big fan of Mark Ford, I recently got to meet him, and hear his new piece that he finished that day. =) I really enjoy Mark's cd, and his compositions.
Im also a huge fan of Keiko Abe, though she is not one of my favorite performers to listen to because I dont like her choice of mallets, and I find it hard to listen to that hard hard break-the-bars sound of her 2-toned mallets. But I repsect her immensely for her musicality and reputation.

Also, its not really a matter of whose better, just because its impossible to judge whose style is "better" than others, they use different grips, so its hard to judge them technically. But it is obvious both are definately very, very good musicians.
