Hello,
I'm playing the Mayuzumi xylo concertino in April with my university orchestra... want to rewrite the cadenza as it's a little bit too plinky plunky for me :) Does anybody know the etiquette for cadenza composition, specifically relating to Japanese xylophone concerti? (How absurdly specific, ha ha :) I don't necessarily want it to be much longer than whats written, just maybe a bit spicier.
