Yes, I agree with the remark on it requiring stamina and that it is a difficult piece. I also agree that it's one of Zivkovic's best works. I reccomend the piece highly.
If anyone is not familiar with this piece on Zivkovic's CD "In the Castle of the Mad King", I urge you to become familiar with this piece.
(*I do believe Nanae Mimura has a performance of this piece on her CD, "Marimba Spiritual", as well. Among other tracks on the disc are an arrangement of Levitan's "Marimba Quartet" for two marimbas, and of course, by the title, Miki's "Marimba Spiritual". Unfortunately, as much as I admire her playing, I can't seem to find a place to order this disc through. Anyone have any suggestions?*)
