That's interesting the King George from 35/36 was tuned like that. I wish I could hear it.

But if those are the only two you know of, then I guess it wouldn't be a good idea to try it. ;)

And yes James, I don't think I've heard a restaurant piano in tune_ever_! hehehe I guess it would be a lot easier if vibes & marimbas could come with a pitch bender like you see on synth keyboards! maybe you can do that on your new xylosynth? I read your review, sounds like a cool instrument.

I agree, I think 440 is still the way to go for *most* situations.

BTW, does anyone know who's doing the tunning at Marimba One these days?
