Thanks for your response. I was familar with most of the names, but some of the modern composers I was not aware they had put out a marimba concerto. I was able to contact Eric Ewazen last year and he hooked me up with a recording of the premier performance of his concerto with She-E Wu as solist and mentioned a few things about it. A little side note....how many graduate percussion assistantships do you offer each year..or does it vary? Also what's the size number wise of the percussion studio? I am starting to look into some graduate schools and I am very interested in U of Illinois. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks!
