Yes, the audition requirements still apply, as would participation in large, conducted ensembles. However, your private study and recital preparation would concentrate on marimba literature, if desired. Other marimba concentration programs exist at Berklee, Boston Conservatory, Peabody Conservatory, possibly Rutgers, possibly Northwestern, and possibly Ithaca.
