RE: Dances of Earth & Fire
FYI: there is no "HoneyRock Edition" of this piece. Honeyrock did distribute the PERCUSSION MUSIC EUROPE edition for a time.

As has been stated, there are a number of mistakes/discrepancies in this edition. I have been through it measure by measure using an original copy and there are many small things (as well as a few not so small things!) that are diffrent between the two versions. If one is going to seriously study/perform it, I would suggest finding an orginal score and going through it measure by measure. Many of the issues would appear to be editng problems, dynamics, etc. You could of course also contact Klatzow directly with questions.

I have often wondered about how many of the differences between the versions Klatzow actually knew about or even wanted.. or OK'd in the publishers editing process. . .? Some of the differences/discrepancies may actually have been intended . . .?

I believe Mr. Moersch has spoken of issues like this in the past . . . in which compsers actually changed thier works, maybe re-edited them at some point, after initial publication.

Anyway . . .
