George Nickson Joined: N/A From: N/A Posts: N/A Actually, I emailed Eric Ewazen, and he said that this did represent a combination of the mallet head and the shaft of the mallet. So far, in rehearsing the piece, I have liked IP240's, I have also liked Moersch IP503's, and Encore Zeltsman medium hard (i think NZ2's). I'm still leaning toward the 240's though.
