I've seen Tom play it. It's probably the most difficult, profound pieces I've seen and heard performed. I saw him do a recital where he played all three Babbitt solos (vibes, marimba and snare). The snare and vibe solos are recorded on Babbitt's CD, " Soli & Duettini." We have a copy of Beaten Path's at my school, it hurts my eyes.
