Hi,

I reckon Nancy's WOODCUTS should be on the must list, at least for the stricking version of MERLIN, which I like a lot. Nice sound and nice articulation - together with flowing phrasing. I thoughful performance of the piece, despite what some people might say about style or other percussive nonsense.

But, it's absolutely vital to hear Bill Moerch's version of this work as well.

Myself, I love both and I feel they compliment each other. Bill's CD does have more interesting repertoire though, by a long way...

Interesting recording to add to the list would be Zivkovic CD which has Ultimatum - nice piece, quite Lisztian in a way, but nice...
