I have a #40 Deagan Marimba and I have recently decided to refinish the keys. I already removed all the old stain. I origianlly was going to restain them, but the natural osewood was so veautiful we decided to keep it that way. However, I am unsure if I should put some type of clear coat on it for protection, but I am worried about losing the quality sound, or it going completely out of tune. am open to all ideas and would really appreciatte some input as soon as possible!!
