Image is an excellent collection of twenty short pieces on a beginning four-mallet level. However, it does not contain any explanation of four-mallet technique. I usually combine Image with Stevens' Method of Movement, which goes into great technical detail, but does not contain actual music.
Other recommended references are Jack Van Geem's Four-mallet Democracy (a good combination of technique and music), Mark Ford's Marimba: Technique Through Music (intermediate level), Julie Davila's Impressions on Wood (intermediate level), and Nancy Zeltsman's Four-Mallet Marimba Playing (moves quickly to more advanced material),
