Fukushi's Anima of a Tree is for 4.0 marimba and 5 wood blocks. The difficulty level looks to be somewhat more than the hardest of the Abe improvisation pieces (Variations on Japanese Children's Songs, etc.), but not severe, having mostly to do with counterpoint and independence between the hands.
There is a recording on Atsushi Sugahara's CD "Thirteen Drums", Camerata 30CM-414.
