I have never heard of Mayumi Sekizawa's recording. There are two versions of the music floating around - the published(Percussion Music Europe) and photocopies of my original manuscript. Both should be consulted (I no longer have the handwritten copy). I think there may be a few errors in the published version. It's a really hard piece (Bob van Sice didn't respond for six months after I sent him the work) but it seems to be the kind of challenge that marimbists want. So good luck! I'd love to hear a good performance. No one here (in South Africa) plays it.
