I will comment mostly on the marimba one, since that is what I own.
bar voicing option - if you have a particular sound in your ear of what you want your marimba to sound like, this is perfect. Ron will work with you on the phone to get exactly what you want, and if you aren't satisfied, he will replace the defective bars.
height adjustable system - i don't really see how it could be easier....you bend down, turn the crank until you get the measurement you want (there is a ruler on both sides) and then you stop, and do the other side.
in general, i love the instrument. it looks and sounds fantastic, and it responds to me better then any other instrument i have played.
the closest instrument i have found is the new adams marimba (have you played their new bars? they are great).
i've played on a malletech a bit, and they do sound very good. however, i could not get over the wide bars at the bass end. make sure you have played one of these instruments before you purchase one....
