What Scott said, plus... For more information on the Percussive Arts Society (PAS), which publishes Percussive Notes magazine, check out http://www.pas.org. PAS also publishes a newsletter, smaller in scope than Percussive Notes, titled "Percussion News." IIRC, they alternate; one month, PAS members receive Percussive Notes (either electronically or through the mail), and the next month, Percussion News. (Don't quote me on that - I just got back from a gig, and I'm too lazy to go to the PAS web site to confirm that this is the publishing arrangement...)
