♦備考: Following the success of the International Marimba Festival Linz 2004, the Classic Concert Music Group ・in collaboration with the renowned Anton Bruckner Private University ・is hosting an International Marimba Competition for marimbists of all ages and nationalities under the artistic direction of the internationally known marimba virtuoso Bogdan Bacanu.
The competition will take place at the Anton Bruckner Private University from the 15th to the 23rd of July 2006 in Linz ・the historical Austrian city, home of the Romantic composer Anton Bruckner. Candidates will play in front of a jury comprised of many of the world痴 leading marimba artists and musical personalities, as well as industry professionals such as concert organisers, artist managers, record labels and instrument manufacturers, providing the chance to open up many new and exciting career opportunities.
