I felt that with the 4-3-2 pattern I would not get as much power, but maybe I should work on it more. It makes sense, I guess I was over-complicating things. As far as rolling with 1 & 3, I think I would rather do 2 & 3, because for the sticking I chose for the second measure of a-4 (for example), I need to start with 3. In that phrase, I would go 3-2-4-1-4 then roll. I think it works well, but it makes the roll before hand and afterwards sound a little detatched from the that little phrase. Unless I am approaching it all wrong? In anycase, I will work on it in different ways and see what I come up with. As far as letter C goes, I am doing the eighth note before it as D-flat, but right at C, I am going to C natural. Do you think that is okay? Oh well, I don't think Mr. Van Sice will mind too much. :) I have yet two more issues. For the second line (piu mosso) of p.19, do you have any sticking suggestions. It really gets trouble-some from the fourth beat of the second quituplet set to the fourth beat of the third quituplet set. I have been splitting it up in right & left hand at some parts. But I have not worked on that line as much as I want to, so maybe I will come up with a solution. The second issue is at the last line of p.21. For that first figure, do I have to swing my 4th mallet al the way from the high B to the E-flat? This was a long post, asking alot of questions. And you don't have to answer all of these, this is just me thinking out loud. I have already appreciated so much of what you have done for me with preparing this piece. ~Behzad
