Here, Here!! One of my big missions in life is to train percussionists to be musically literate. I relate music reading to reading literature. If I gave them "The Cat in the Hat" and they read it like they read music, it would go " T-H-E ...the...C-A-T ...cat". Embarrassing indeed.
