Thanks Mr. Moersch. Yeah, I think I would differ one, maybe two, mallets. For pieces that are "marimbistic" of the left hand staying on the left and the right hand staying on the right, its definitely worth having completely different mallets. Though, for like the Klatzow, I would maybe have like the first mallet softer, because, as you said below, the best pieces are written without regards to stickings. This is very interesting, I really gotta work on this. The truth is that I had never found the right mallet for me, so I have alot of individual pairs of brands of mallets. I have been using the Van Sice model right now, and I like them alot. Now I just gotta buy the whole line! :) ~Behzad
