Greg Joined: N/A From: N/A Posts: N/A Wow! That's very interesting! I knew about the Nabimba but I didn't realize some many more large marimbas were being manufactured in the early 20th Century. Why is it then that the very early repetoire for the modern marimba was only selective to the 3.5 and 4 octave instruments, and only in the last two decades has the 5 octave repetoire grown extensively?
