This is a really interesting point -- erratas of marimba works. I wonder how many of the works I play have mistakes :-) there are the obvious ones, but, on more complex works this can be tricky to spot. This is why working with the composer can be important - not only on the notes themselves, but on all the things in Music that cannot be notated. It is also our responsibility, I think, to work with the composers we commission in order to help them notate what they want exactly, so future performers can perform these works musically and technically accurately.
