Hi! I am trying to purchase a 4 1/3 octave marimba for my daughter - 10th grade - to have at home for practice. I was going to get the Yamaha 1430, but can't find one in stock and I really want her to have it soon (b'day). My budget is low - $2500 - are any other brands worth purchasing? I've looked - online - at Vancore and others, but I know nothing about instruments and her instructor is on vacation. Any help is greatly appreciated - I've checked craigs list. I'm in the Atlanta area. Thanks!
