I heard 6 marimbas on amazon. it was beautiful, just thought id tell you.
By the way, sarah, about drum corps vs. concert playing, they each have pros and cons. pros for drum corps is it helps a lot with your chops. it is also very fun and energetic. con for drum corps is that it wont really help you musically because for 99.9999 percent of the time you play really, really, really loud. no dynamics are needed.
pro for concert playing is that its much more musical than drum corps. there is also much more variety to what you play. con os that it wont help with your chops that much. another con is that many pieces, including classical pieces dont have marimba. i ,myself, choose concert because the music is better, and i think it would be easier to make a living if you played concert. i want to be in the chicago symphony orchestra when im older. so, i hope i helped you a little bit. good luck!!
