Kristopher makes a great point of what is good for YOU. But here are yet some more things to consider (also reiterating some of Kristopher's tips). And these are my personal observations by the way:
ADAMS:
-Tunable resonators (I think)
-Easy transport
-Narrower bars, especially at low end
-Sepereation of notes. Can be good, but also bad.
-Need heavier hand to play
MARIMBA ONE:
-Not tunable
-Not easily transportable, but worth their look on stage.
-More resonant
-Very responsive
And I am sure you will come up with some of our own observations too. And as far as I know, I think Marimba One is cheaper, but I could br wrong.
