I need to buy some new mallets. I have been considering the Innovation Mark Ford or the Soloist series. The softer models are the ones that I need. Any feed back in terms of sound, durability, etc? Thanks>

The IP Soloist models are rubber core and blended yarn, while the IP Ford models are synthetic core and acrylic yarn. The Soloists will be darker, heavier and longer wearing than the Fords, while the Fords will have less yarn slap. Personally, I prefer the Soloists and my IP line to the Fords (too light).
