Leigh Howard Stevens Summer Marimba Seminar

Three week course from May 30th through June 21st in Ocean Grove on the scenic Jersey shore.

Guest artists include: Tom Burritt, Mike Burritt, Valarie Naranjo, Gordon Stout, Kevin Bobo

Course includes a complete overview of the marimba with the first week concentrating on technique and the second two weeks concentrating on musical issues and repertoire. Daily instruction with Leigh Howard Stevens and master classes will cover tone production, development of the one-handed roll, memorization, all the stroke types of Stevens technique, how to practice, repertoire, and more…
