I know that this was just covered and that some books were suggested. I was needing a book for some one that doesn't have much musical experience and is learning the marimba. Does anyone have suggestions of books. Do the ones mentioned before apply?

Hello,
You could try a band method book such as Standard of Excellence or Essential Elements. They explain alot of the fundamentals of muic and then have a tunes to play using the skills that they explain. Hope this helps.
